Snowmaking Kicks Off at Charlotte Pass Ski Resort for Season 2008
Last night the clouds dissipated and once the sky was clear temperatures reached a low of -9ÂșC with low winds, making conditions perfect for snowmaking. The snowmaking guns were started around 11.30pm and kept pumping out snow until after 9am this morning.
Looking ahead, low temperatures and the chance of snowfalls in the next few weeks means the snowmakers are expected to be out every night getting the Resort ready for Season 2008, which begins on Friday 6th June.
